easyJet is one of Europe's most successful airlines and has partnered with L3 CTS for airline pilot training solutions since its first flights in 1995. Today we remain easyJet's preferred provider of newly qualified airline pilots.
The Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program is at the leading edge of Airline Pilot training innovation and provides more opportunity than ever to launch an Airline Pilot career with Europe's leading airline, through L3 Airline Academy.
There are three Generation easyJet routes to the flight deck:
1. easyJet MPL
Successful applicants to the MPL in partnership with easyJet will be invited to join the Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) route – an Airline Pilot career program at the leading edge of Airline Pilot training. Selected and mentored by easyJet from day one, you will embark upon a unique route of training which will take you directly to the role of Co-Pilot on Airbus A320 aircraft, flying easyJet routes around Europe.
2. easyJet MPL Upgrade
For those who perform to the MPL Selection Standard but do not meet the academic criteria for easyJet MPL route, we offer the opportunity to be selected for the MPL upgrade.*
Following completion of ATPL Theoretical Knowledge exams to the easyJet standard, the highest performers will be selected to upgrade and continue their training along the easyJet MPL route.

3. easyJet Integrated ATPL
This route provides a further opportunity to join easyJet for those who successfully complete selection and join the L3 Airline Academy Integrated ATPL, but are not selected for the MPL upgrade. This easyJet-focused route includes easyJet specific intermediate phase of training tailored to easyJet A320 aircraft and Standard Operating Proceedures (SOPs) and concludes with easyJet A320 type rating.
If you complete the easyJet MPL or easyJet MPL Upgrade:
If you complete the program through the easyJet Integrated ATPL:
Upon commencement of Co-Pilot flying with easyJet, you will continue to gain Line Oriented Experience (LOE) that will conclude with a final 'line check' with an easyJet training Captain.
