Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program

Entry Criteria

To apply for this course, you must meet the following requirements:


  • Be at least 18 years of age to commence training
  • Have the unrestricted right to live and work in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland
  • Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent*) grade C or above, including maths, science and English language
  • Be able to demonstrate that you have successfully completed secondary or high school education (or equivalent)
  • Be fluent in English (verbal and written)**
  • Produce a criminal record check (CRC) basic disclosure certificate before training can commence
  • Minimum height 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm), maximum height 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm)***
  • Be able to obtain an EASA Class 1 Medical without restrictions prior to commencement of training

** Non-native English speakers will be required to present a certificate prior to training commencement demonstrating they have achieved International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Level 5.5 overall, with no less than 5.5 in any individual area (Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking). Results must be for the academic test, not general training.


To qualify for the easyJet MPL, you must hold:


• A minimum of 2 A Levels grades C or above (excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking) OR a degree grade 2:2 or above.


In order to be considered for the upgrade to the easyJet MPL you are only required to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent*) grade C or above, including maths, science and English language.


You may apply to the program with predicted grades (A Levels only) but they must be achieved on commencement of training. If predicted grades are not achieved, you may still have the opportunity to join the Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program through the easyJet Integrated ATPL route. Further selection may be required following completion of the Intermediate phase of training to secure easyJet placement.


Please be advised that easyJet will be able to accept only one application per person. Please ensure that you do not duplicate your application through different provider routes to the Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program.


We are now accepting re-applications from previously unsuccessful applicants to our Generation easyJet Pilot Training program. If you would like to re-apply, please ensure that your deferral period to re-apply has passed. You will have been advised of the length of your deferral period in your feedback from our team.

Please be aware that we are unable to accept applications from those who have applied unsuccessfully to other approved training providers of the Generation easyJet Pilot Training Program. However, you may be eligible to apply to our Integrated ATPL Airline Pilot career program, which is open for applications all year round.

  • If successful, you will be invited to attend a two-day selection event with L3 and easyJet at our Airline Resourcing & Selection Center – Dibden Manor, UK
